I love how easy is it to use. Simply format. Simple to learn on your own. I my favorite thing is how it easily and automatically links with products in my store. What I don't like is the limited functions like I can't copy and paste small pics or emojis in the body of the text. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of expensive paid ecommerce email marketing apps, but the ease of it is valuable to me.

Really really appreciate this Shopify email e-marketing app. It has been helpful during this coronavirus, its friendly to the pocket. It would be great if more features are added but still, it is not bad.

This app is great. However i wish there was more templates available. I would like to display 2 products next to each other and smaller vs the 3 big images.

i used this app it was a good experience while using this app still i am awaiting to convert my emails to Sale But it help me to convey my message

I love that it easily lets me market to my subscribers for free. I can let me imagination and creativity run wild. I do wish they had a few more templates and a few more editing options but i imagine i can find a paid app for. YOu cant beat this for free.

Hello! We have been waiting for this and are very excited to be included at the launch. Our request is to make it as user friendly as possible for editing text and discount %'s or changing item pictures. Thanks for the opportunity to start using this in our marketing!

Wish there were more options to choose from. But great app. easy to use as well. not much more to say than that

I like everything if only the limit on the number would be removed(((. I do not have many clients in total, but several clients are often added. Therefore, I send mailing to 2-5 clients every day, and the limit on sending puts pressure on me.((

Great app and so easy to use. The newsletter looks professional. Great to show products but not for advance newsletter. Best of all, it´s free!

Am I missing something? I cannot send emails to anyone but my "email subscribers" list which doesn't include customers that have signed up through the pop up app that I use to collect customer's emails. Which seems to be the most effective way of getting emails so I do not want to quit using it. But with no way to email them through this app, it makes BOTH apps pointless. I have reached out for help and was told to use the pop up apps option to have them automatically respond when a customer signs up. Okay great, but what about after that? I can never email them again? If I am just not doing something right someone please tell me !!! I cannot figure it out!

I love the idea of Shopify Email, but this is way too basic for our needs. I was hoping it would be similar or better than the old Mailchimp/Shopify integration, but it doesn't even come close. There are both basic and advanced features that are missing. Here are some missing features: -2 and 3 column sections -sections that allow you to add your choice of standard content blocks (buttons, text, images, products, etc.). That works so much better than relying on finding a pre-made template that has all the right content blocks. -the ability to add images! Logo and products are the only images that can be added to emails now. -use Paragraph, Header 1, Header 2, etc. for text instead of fiddling with the size continually. Very important for those of us that have blog posts we share through email. I like that you can change the text size, but it's set up in a way that doesn't work for long text blocks. -there's something weird with the "from" section in the email designer. It should be possible to add alternate emails rather than just the main store email. -it's great to be able to add products, but what about collections? It would be more useful for us to be able to add a collection and pull a certain number of those products into the email or simply a collection image and link -automated emails, ideally with the option of automated email sequences (welcome emails, thank you emails, abandoned cart emails, email sequences triggered by tags/shopping behavior/birthday/custom date field, reengagement campaigns, etc.) -custom fields. We use Mailchimp as a CRM where we have additional information about our customers like birthday, custom date fields, interests, etc. Currently there is no option for this in Shopify. -ability to send emails to people who have purchased (or not yet purchased) specific products. In general, customer group filters are not sophisticated enough. -Shopify is in a unique position to be able to pull off personalized recommended product emails based on customer behavior. That would be a amazing to see here. I could see this working for businesses that are just getting off the ground or have only a handful of products. For now, it is not useable for us. But I'm hoping that Shopify Email will grow to include some of these features. I would much rather use Shopify in the future if it's able to up its email game. Edit: Forgot to mention merge fields, discount codes and email scheduling in the list of missing features. I'm also concerned by some reviews mentioning the app hurting their sender reputation and even blacklisting domains. Those reviews may be overblown, but there doesn't seem to be an effective way of managing list cleaning, authorizing send emails, etc.

This app is amazing. Not only is there an option to create an email campaign from a blank template, there is also a great selection of templates to use. There is no limit to how many subscribers either like there is on Mailchimp. Highly recommended!

It literally sends emails to the most simple schedule ever. It does nothing of any use. What are you charging for? Something as simple as this should be free across all plans!

Excited to have an email service inside of Shopify. Lot of features needed to completely replace the MailChimps of the world, analytics are slow took overnight to see that emails were sent. **August Update -- still waiting on better analytics, sorry sent, open and clicks is not close to being a true email package. **UPDATE Analytics at least on my shop is broken sent out an email and 5 days later showing 2 opens and zero sent. Analytics doesn't tell you who opened or clicked just that someone did. Need to have a visual customer ranking as to who opens/clicks and who doesn't so that decisions can be made on is this a customer/potential customer or just somebody who signed up. Missing a bounce indicator in analytics. Hopefully some automation's will happen in the future. You have an app people could get excited about. Programmers can work from home during COVID so no excuses for future roll-outs taking 6mos. Cheers, Indypicker.com

shopify needs a lot of work to make this email app same par as usual Shopify quality we used to......

good pricing but the delivery rate is quite poor when compared to previous email app we have used it the past. I believe there will be future improvements.

Sent out first email last week. Love the integration to my store and how I can pull in my products, content, etc directly to my email. Please add automated email capability. I want to send email to new email subscribers, new customers, tagged customers, etc.

I love the Shopify emails. They look great and they're super easy to customise and send. The price is also super reasonable. However, without being able to set up an automation welcome sequence for people when they first subscribe, I'll have to switch over to one of the other services like Mailchimp. Super bummed as this really was easy to use.

Creating and sending basic emails is great, however the reporting is very limited and a feature as important as an automated welcome email when a new email subscriber is added, is not available. The ability to create a welcome sequence would be even better.

Was using omnisend all the time and all fine - my email account is safe under omnisend system. Saw shopify email is free so tried it once and it really fxxked me up. Now my IP is under 6 blacklist. Can not send out any emails contain with link/signature/store brand... had to ask help immediately and shopfiy assistant says this is none of their business... lol. Installed g suite asap and google IT told me even that, my IP account is still under the blacklist... would never use this horrible service again. Please be careful, it will destroy your website.

Hello Shopify. I like the idea of this email being created by Shopify itself. However, this app is missing A TON of important features. Is there a way that you guys can add the following automatic emails: Order Confirmation, Order Cancellation, Order Follow-up, Shipping Notification, Delivery Notification, Abandon Cart, Product Recommendation, Birthday and Cross Selling. Also can you guys add features like, social icons in the footer of the website and website information. Buttons for: Order Tracking, Order Cancelling, Order Editing, etc. Thanks!
