Abandonment Protector is the one paid app I would tell every Shopify store owner to get. If you're getting any sales at all, you probably have many more people abandoning their carts. This app will recover some of those lost sales. Very easy to set up and get working for you and should easily pay for itself many times over. I am on the $79 a month Shopify plan, which includes the cart recovery feature, yet I still use Abandonment Protector because I find both methods recover lots of sales. Yes, I have both running. AP emails people a few minutes after they abandon their cart, then Shopify several hours later. The email messages are different so some people will respond better to one than the other. Another cool thing about AP is that it will even email people who abandoned their cart days or weeks before you installed the app. The Shopify abandonment feature does NOT do this; it just emails people who abandon the cart after you activate that feature. In my case there were 100 or so people that Shopify didn't email for that reason, yet AP did.

If you are on Shopify because you value customer support then you need to know that this app is exactly what you should be looking for. The customer support is absolutely out of this world. The app was easy to setup, and it has lead to an absolutely incredible increase of 15 percent more conversions from lost carts in our luxury bikini store. This takes a bit of fine tuning, and some ingenuity but the customer service is more than happy to help with every aspect. Just installed 10 days ago, and so many orders have been already recovered. It really is worth to pay just $8/month, while you can get 100 times as much. Fernando is very helpful providing the top-notch customer service. Very happy with the app!

I wanted to let this run for some time before reviewing so i could give a far more fair review. I am absolutely pleased with the APP and how it works. I'll be fair, there have been one or two times it seems to have missed an email, however support is SUPER QUICK to reply and sort things out. The email editor is easy to use and make look nice, the setting tabs are easy to work through and configure. So far this $8 (I mean come on, that's what? the price of lunch?) a month APP has paid for it's self more then 20 times since installment.

This is an excellent app. It does what it says and more. A must have for any shop doing re-marketing email campaigns. It also installs easily. If you have any questions, Fernando is always there to help with his awesome customer service. Highly recommend this!

Great app at a good price. Customer support has been excellent, helping with the design of the template. I had been using another service for this purpose, but the clean design of the email templates and the ability to see stats and analytics on the performance make this app a much more complete service.

AWESOME app. very easy to set up. Love the contact us tab you can add on the edge of your site, and the customizable template for the abandon checkout email. You can see your stats, to compare how many sales you have recovered right from the apps main page. Good stuff!

This app is easy to use, provides the capability to send THREE different e-mails, scheduled at different times (which is supposedly a "best practice" and yet many other abandoned cart apps do not do this), and seems to be effective. I'm like 3 days into my free trial for an $8 app and the program has already recovered $30 of sales for me. Definitely seems worth it! Update: Now that I'm really in the full swing of thigns with this app, I love it even more. In the last 30 days, this app has helped me recover more than $1,000 in lost sales. Depending on your volume that might or might not be a big deal, but man, for $8 a month, that's a pretty mighty ROI.

Very good app, recovered over £600 in just under a month

I left this app to try another one........came right back because unlike the other app, this one shows me if the emails are read, updates in real time and has actually recovered a few carts for me. Great app overall! Update 6/17/2015: I have had this reinstalled for literally one day and have already recovered and order from yesterday LOL......simply awesome!! Abandonment Protector, I will never leave you again, I promise :)

WOW is all I can say been using this for less than a week and already converted almost $1,000 dollars worth of sales that would have been lost! The look and presentation that goes out to the customer is amazing and looks so professional that it definitely leads to recovering sales. I had another ap that we used and it did not work near as well or look anything even close to this ap in quality or presentation. This ap has made us more money in less than a week than the other did in 5 months! GET THIS AP you won't be sorry!

I just started using this app and within just a few hours, I can already see it in action and is working! I wish I would have added this a long time ago! I was a little confused in setting it up at first, although now that I have done it, it is rather easy to do. The customer service here is impecable and they helped me out with multiple questions I had. I highly recommend this!

Great app and great support! I wasn't too sure what difference a cart recovery tool would make, but so far we had 4 abandoned carts, and 1 was recovered from the auto-email! This tool will definitely put money in your pocket.
