I have never written a review but I felt like I had to in order to WARN YOU of route's FRAUDULENT business model. They do not honor anything they claim to protect. They just say, this claim did not fit our protection policy. they make money off of you and PISS your customers OFF! We are currently self insuring our packaging, we are very happy and immediately send a replacement in case of a loss or damage and we are in control of our customers happiness and the money WE KEEP kind of evens out WITH THE MONEY OF LOSS. SO, if route is legitimate, how can they make profit and satisfy your customers? THE ANSWER IS THEY DON'T, THEY ONLY MAKE MONEY AND LEAVE YOU AND YOUR CUSTOMER PISSED. UTTER DISRESPECT.

Route has been amazing for our store, they have great customer service, their team is always willing to help, and our customers only have positive feedback to share when they purchase their coverage. I definitely recommend it to save on customer service while improving its quality.

Route is a ripoff. Route controls how much your customers pay to protect their packages. They raise the rates as your claims increase (like it's your fault). Merchants have no control over the claims process so if a customer files a legitimate claim and is denied by Route, the merchant is out of pocket for the replacement. All of this is done while Route sits back collecting all the money your customers pay for shipping protection. I recently switched to Navidium Shipping Protection, which gives me 100% control over the claims approval process, acts as an upsell in your store so, as the merchant, you get to keep the money charged for shipping protection, AND I get to set the price of the shipping protection for my customers. All for a nominal monthly fee. Its a WIN for me! Don't download this app. Get Navidium instead.

Route has been helpful in recovering lost and stolen package costs for us at scale as well as a huge time saver for our Customer Experience teams. We are able to offer our customers worry-free insurance and at no cost to the brand.

Both parties need to take responsibility and do their part to ensure customer satisfaction. Overall, we are incredibly grateful for the convenience and efficiency that Route has brought to our business, and we highly recommend it to any business owner struggling with shipping-related challenges.

Route has been a great decision for our business and the best choice for our customers! Very very disappointed with the service from Route. They increased our prices and broke our check out cart - on chat will raise the issue and the agent then just disconnected the chat without any information or follow up via email

Route Protection is the best service there is. They not only provide awesome service ensuring our customers receive their orders safely but they also stand behind their promise to be there when there's a claim. We added Route to our shipping services more than a year ago. They have not failed us with expert service. Justin Boyce, our rep, never ignores emails, provides excellent service and never hesitates to explain when more info may be required in a given situation. We love route. No longer do we have to worry about shipping issues because route has us covered. The customer support is fantastic and the claims process is really easy for customers to understand. Route has probably saved us thousands upon thousands of dollars in lost revenue! Route is a standard app across all of our e-commerce websites. It's definitely one of those essential apps. 10/10

So far so good! The team was flexible addressing some of our specific concerns as well. That was nice to see!

We used the app for several years but support stopped responding to me when I asked with help uninstalling The app has been glitchy in our cart for several months and support always told me it was working as expected I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone

This is the worst app to work with. Very shady business!!! Creating orders on my store without consent or notifying, refunding orders without my consent and without notifying me. Has not been approving claims due to "Cosmetic damage". DO NOT WORK WITH ROUTE, WORST MISTAKE I HAVE DONE!!!

We love using Route! Very simple integration and our customers love having extra protection on their packages. App is super intuitive and easy to navigate.

We installed this app to add an extra layer of security with package theft, loss and damage. So far I have had a great experience with Route and believe that it will be very useful during the holiday season when customer orders are more prone to delays and being lost in transit. Our Customer Success Manager, Alicia Elliot, was very helpful throughout the setup process and answered all of our questions.

This app surprised me. It has indeed increased customer confidence. Items on my shop have a high ticket and this app helps my customers feel at ease. Initially had some issues with getting this app functional on my site. Route support got it squared away for us! Ahseante is the best CSM around! Whenever we reach out for assistance we typically our questions answered either same day or the very next day. Defintley reccommend getting Route Shipping Insurence, save yourself and your customers the hassle!

Route made the integration to our Shopify store as seamless as can be. We noticed an immediate insight into our customer behavior where they are quick to maintain the Route insurance in the cart and throughout checkout. We greatly appreciate all of Route's help in providing additional options to help our customers feel secure with their purchase.

We have had a great experience with Route. Our customers have been using route for better protection on their orders. Route has been very helpful and answer any questions we have about the app and how it works in a timely manner.

Route is a fantastic service that I am glad we implemented to our site. We ship tons of products both in the US and internationally and Route gives us peace of mind. From lost package claims to damaged items we lost a ton before Route. They also have a fantastic order tracking app for customers and not to mention their design team should be proud of themselves for the minimalist but very polished look.

We love Route! Our company ships thousands of packages and they're large, expensive furniture items. Route has saved us thousands of dollars over time. We used to waste hours of employee time filing claims, lost many funds due to inaccurate claims we made by ourselves, and dealt with angry customers who didn't know how to get their items once lost. With Route, we use their provided customer friendly wording and give that to our customers who are easily able to request help, and have the claim resolved quickly through Routes website or app. Adding Route to our business has been a lifesaver! we 10/10 one hundred percent recommend!
