The project involved migrating from BASE to Shopify, focusing on the renewal of an e-commerce site tailored for the Japanese market. Instead of a straightforward transfer of design and functionalities, enhancements to UI/UX were achieved based on client feedback. For design, a theme suitable for fewer SKUs was selected, organizing content to effectively showcase the products. Intuitive banners and icons were created to convey product benefits clearly, employing a clean color palette to evoke a fresh aesthetic. Functionality improvements included the installation of chat, review, and simplified shipping applications. Training was provided on using Shopify features and apps, empowering the client for ongoing management.
