Shopify's Order Printer enables you to quickly set up and print custom packing slips, invoices, labels, and receipts for your orders both individually or in bulk. Customizations to templates are made with HTML, CCS and Liquid. If you don’t have experience with this, Shopify Theme Support can assist with minor customizations. Major customizations will need to be done by a 3P app, designer, or developer. Order Printer app does not support customizing POS printer receipts.

over the years Shopify has made some changes that have not been helpful for us. This change takes time to get use to but right off the top the change has been helpful in terms of toner usage. The new format takes less toner to print as the bold lines used on the old format are gone. I do like the new format and like that the "packing slip" is labeled as such.

Countering many of the poor reviews here, this app has been a LONG time coming and sorely needed. Previously Shopify had no support for Invoices. If a customer asked for an invoice, there was no way to pull it up, other than installing third party app workaround. That was a huge gap in any b2b workflow and this finally fixes it. Users have always had to know a little bit of HTML, CSS and Liquid to customize an invoice so I'm not understanding the complaints. There also appear to be unlimited templates that can be added so I dont understand some the reviews saying there are only 2. Yes, 2 pre-made, but you can duplicate and create as many as you need. I get that templates have to be done again and that's a hassle, but the old app was a dead end and needed a complete rebuild which is what Shopify is delivering here. My team and I are thrilled that this is finally available and I look forward to leveraging its capabilities into our workflows. No doubt Shopify can and will build on this new foundation.
