Our business sells at in person trade shows, and other more esteemed wholesale marketplaces such as Abound, Faire, Trada, etc. We are in over a 100 stores/boutiques across the country. Our products are handmade in the USA. We have a history of sales of course. Should I say more? It's frustrating, because we had felt that this marketplace had potential and because we had clearly met all their criteria but the truth of the matter is that we will have to move on because there's much more opportunity other places. Considering the sellers we did see on this marketplace, I would advise all buyers and prospective sellers to steer clear and go other places. Shopify is trying to get into this and they clearly can't. Their team is not qualified to distinguish between good and bad candidates. I will continue to speak out against this marketplace to many others I know in the same business and also on the ads that I see propagate in many different venues.

The way your email is worded, it sounds like you are trying to reach out to those businesses that dropship. However when one looks at the nuts and bolts that is not what is actually being offered. In the email, it states "...it even has many brands that offer white-labeling and dropshipping." Only to find out that is not a true statement at this time. I dropship because I do not want to package, and mail out any product. Why dangle the carrot, and not offer the goods?

Great concept with products we are looking for. My issue is that I like to do is dropship for new products then go wholesale for the products that sell. Every time we use wholesale right of the bat we end up with thousand of dollars with unsold products. Yet the concept is terrific.

This app is a great start, bravo Shopify! To those who are frustrated that they are not finding things to dropship, I believe what Shopify is trying to do is harness their network of smaller independent vendors and buyers and give them both access to a larger audience. Dropship is NOT an optimal business model for smaller independent vendors. This is a site for people who care what they sell, to sell to people who care about what they buy, not to get rich quick on cheap imported goods nobody needs.

Like the first reviewer, I assumed there would be an option for dropshipping USA Products for more dependable product quality and faster shipping time than available on Oberlo, which can be as long as 45 Days Shipping due to the pandemic. Pre-pandemic shipping times where no less than two weeks and took anywhere from 2-7 day processing time. One of the biggest spotlights shined on Shopify is that startups can start their store with no on-hand inventory, so I hope dropshipping menu will become a feature soon for Handshake. I gave the handshake site two stars because the prices are too high for B2B. Like many other USA B2B Pricing, these items sell to the Shopify stores at a regular Retail Price level.

I wanted to use this app to find items to sell on my store and thought the app would help me import and sell the items via dropshipping, but it appears to just be an account on a website to buy wholesale items. I'll give the app 3 stars because I like the items available, and the description didn't claim to do what I thought it was going to do.
